how do I sort picutres and movies by size on Photos application on Mac?

The Photos app does not have that capability. Tell Apple what missing features you'd like restored or new features added in Photos via Feedback - Photos - Apple
However, the free version of PowerPhotos can, in column view sort by size.
For videos:
For photos only create a smart album with this criteria:
and them in PowerPhotos this:
Control (right) - click on a photo in PowerPhotos and you can go directly to it in the Photos Library:
