I can’t connect to Apple CarPlay with my car charger. I just had a new usb port put in. Do I need a different charger?

Since you say you had a new usb port put in you need to make sure it was properly installed. Does it charge but just won’t show it connected to CarPlay? If you plug another phone in does it work? If you try another cable does it work?

It is charging but won’t connect to Apple CarPlay. It also says my car is connected. Just wandering if I need a different type of charger. I have an apple lightning charger.
I can’t connect my iphone 14 to my Apple car play. It says my phone is connected but says the usb isn’t connected. Please help
