Charging iphone15 in car

At First I was able to charge my new phone in my new jeep. Then all of a sudden it stopped working, it will charge for a second and then stop and just repeatedly do this if I keep it plugged in. All of my cords work outside of the car. I have usb-c port and it charges my boyfriends phone (14) fine so it’s not the port or the cables. So what is it?

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
