FinalCut Pro Install

I just bought Final Cut Pro. I have a 2016 MacBook Pro with macOS Monterey. How can I install the latest Final Cut Pro. Installer is asking for a later OS.

Do you have the application in the Applications folder? If so, move it to the trash. Sign into the App Store with the Apple ID used to purchase the application. Click the button in the lower left to open your purchase page. Find the application there. It should show a cloud download button. Click it to get the last version that will work with your OS.

When did you buy the application? What OS were you using?

Bought it from the App Store. Yes, I updated the OS as indicated in S/W Updates - my OS updated to Monterey. Apparently, that's not enough for FinalCut Pro that I bought. So, either I find a way to install the latest FinalCut Pro or downgrade to an older version that's compatible with Monterey, or find a way to install the latest MacOS on my 2016 MacBook Pro. Any help will be appreciated.
