Shared iPad with Apple Fitness+

I use an iPad Pro 12” with Apple Fitness+ and some home exercise equipment (Elliptical, bike, etc). All the equipment we have has provisions for a tablet including charging. Seems pretty standard these days. The integration with Apple Fitness+ on the iPad, my Apple watch, and AirPods is great. It works perfect for 1 person. The issue is how do multiple household members use the same iPad and integrate with their Apple watches and other accessories. There seems to be no way for other family members to share the iPad. I did some research on the shared iPad feature for business and schools and that doesn’t appear to be allowed for home users. Please help.

Outside of Educational and Enterprise establishments, iPad and iPhone are principally intended to be a single-user device - and are not intended to shared in the same manner as you may be accustomed when using a Windows PC or Mac computer - which has multiple user profiles/accounts.

For managed environments, where multi-user usage is possible, the Deployment Guide provides appropriate guidance.

For unmanaged environments, be aware that if you sign-out of iCloud and other Apple services - and allow another user to sign-in - you’ll not be able to change back for 90-days. So as to prevent account abuse, some critical Apple services will only allow one change of signed-in AppleID (on a device) in a 90-day period.

In conclusion, unless you fully understand and accept the implications, you would be well advised to reconsider any attempt to share your iPad with another user.

Seems you are confirming my findings. Thanks for the added info.

If Apple wants people to continue to buy into their ecosystems they have to provide features that make is easy. Before posting I had found a bunch of similar posts to mine but they were a few years old. I was hoping something had changed. This seems like a big miss on Apple's part.
