Multiple Users on an iPad for Fitness+

Hello, I haven't seen any posts about this lately. My family recently subscribed to Fitness+ and love what you can do with it. Our family has iphones and trying to follow the fitness program on an iphone is too difficult. My wife has an iPad and I've been using that. I just found out today that my workouts on her iPad are screwing up her data.

Is there a way to separate my workouts from hers using the same iPad? These seems like something simple that Apple should be allowing.

Adding to what LotusPilot said, there is really no reliable way to keep data separate on a single iPad. Even if you sign out of Fitness+ with her ID and sign in with yours, your exercise data may still be mixed. As Lotus said, the iPad is designed and engineered as a single-user device.

Perhaps you have a smart TV that supports AirPlay? If so, you can probably 'cast the sessions from Fitness+ from your own iPhone to the TV and have that work better.

Regards.

Are you sharing an AppleID between devices? Sharing an AppleID is a very bad idea. In sharing devices between users, or sharing a common AppleID (now known as your Apple Account with iOS/iPadOS18) personal and sensitive data can be unexpectedly shared between users.

Outside of Educational and Enterprise establishments, iPad and iPhone are principally intended to be a single-user device - and are not intended to shared in the same manner as you may be accustomed when using a Windows PC or Mac computer - which has multiple user profiles/accounts.
