Ipod touch model MKH62LL/A why doesn't sync with my Itunes on my PC?

software version is 12.5.7

I've removed a bunch of tunes off of the Ipod and all the photos. turned off cloud backup. freed up 3.36 GB of storage and it still won't allow me to add tunes from my PC to my Ipod. I see it says "updating files on "tinap's IPod" and underneath it says "preparing to update" but that is all it does. It doesn't actually move off of that.

Hello ocalaco,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We'd like to recommend a few steps you can try to see if we can get this issue sorted out. Let's follow the steps below:

1.) Make sure you're using the most up-to-date version of iTunes on your PC:

2.) Install pending updates for your PC: Windows Update: FAQ - Microsoft Support

3.) Turn off anti-virus or security related softwares off your PC. This can sometimes interfere with syncing.

4.) Restart your iPod touch and your PC to help refresh things.

5.) Try connecting to a different USB port. If your issue continues, test a different computer to see if the same issue continues to occur.

We hope these steps help you. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.
