How do I put a lock on my settings app itself

How do you lock the settings app itself with a Face ID or passcode.Tired of my kid messing with the screen time settings I have in place for him.

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17

Locking Apps with Face ID or Passcode:

You Can’t. This is not an option.


So, Recommend this to Apple:

Do your Part: Being of no option, let apple know what feature(s) you want to see addedApple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what their customers prefer and what features need to be added.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "FeedbackType"
  3. Comment: that you think this should be an option and why., Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

If you are setting up your child's device, you can put a password on Screen Time so that they can't change it Screen Time settings:
