There was a temporary problem completing your request

When I try and use Apple Music on my MacBook Air M2 and go to the browse, search, radio, listen now, it just says "There was a temporary problem completing your request". I have tried signing in and out and turning off and on sync but it has not changed anything. It works on my iPhone just not on my Mac. It only will play songs in my library but they will take 5 min to load. My wifi is also stable.

(no song shows up on iMovie where it says it should if any has a fix to that that would also be helpful )

Considering the steps you've already tried, checking to see whether there are any updates available for macOS, which may include updates to Apple Music, would be the most logical next step: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

Regarding adding music to your iMovie projects, the following page offers guidance that should be helpful: Add songs and other audio files to your iMovie project

As mentioned on the page:

If your Music library includes protected files, they are unavailable and do not appear in the browser.

To use a song you’ve purchased from the iTunes Store in your project, you have to be the copyright holder of the song or have express permission from the copyright holder. For more information about using content in iMovie see the iMovie software license agreement by choosing iMovie > About iMovie, then click License Agreement.

The iMovie trick helps but sadly I am on the most current Mac os
