Royal Match Ads

I have Royal Match downloaded, but I am increasingly irritated at the fact that just about every other gaming app runs a 75 second ad for it that I can’t end. It’s becoming a gross invasion of privacy and for them to proudly announce that their game has no ads is frankly hypocritical. I’ve tried changing my ads settings to no avail. Why can’t cookies detect the fact that I already have the game. Why can’t any advertisers work out if someone wants an app, they’ll download it, and if they don’t, no amount of constant bombardment will persuade them otherwise. The whole situation is spoiling my enjoyment of many good games that I have. HELP!!

The best location to write about your experience with the app is to provide a review in the App Store for the app. In this way it may help other users who are looking to download it. Apple will only remove apps that don't follow the terms of service to be in the App Store. It is up to the users to review the apps or not download them at all.

I play a few games in airplane mode to avoid the ads. (In each case, the game shows you ads frequently and without giving you a choice.) Unfortunately, some developers have found a way round and seem to keep a cache of ads to hurl at you whether you're connected or not.

My problem isn't with ads themselves. I play a couple of good games that give you small rewards for playing ads, and I'm happy to do this. (I have crosswords and Japanese puzzles on hand to keep me occupied while they play.) However, I wish Apple would give the user the choice to suppress the sounds throughout adverts. It seems that in some modes (controlled either by developer or ad setup - I don't know which) this is possible, but in others it isn't - for example, the latest trick is to tag on a thing to the end of your advert (ffwd button in top right-hand corner instead of X control), during which the sound can't be muted, and you have no choice but to listen to the king scream and shout for 10-15 seconds or turn down your device volume completely.

Come to think of it, I don't know why ad playing has to be a game of cat-and-mouse between advertiser and user - if the game looks good, the user will check it out, but if the ad seems designed to be as irritating as possible (like the ones with these King), users will be put off from the start.

Unfortunately, bombarding users with ads, even highly annoying ones, work. Advertisers all know this, as can be attested to with many ads over the decades where they repeat the same obnoxious ads over and over. Like:

Please don't squeeze the Charmin!

Mama mia. That's a spicy meatball!

While this approach does work on many folks, it has just the opposite affect on the wife and I. To this day, we will not even consider buying Charmin bathroom tissue because of the incessant Mr. Whipple ads. And they stopped running those at least 20 years ago.

I couldn’t agree more. The ads for this game in the games I play are infuriating to the point it’s counter productive. I would NEVER buy the game on the principle it’s hacked me off so much.

You're welcome to contact the app developer about it. This is a user-to-user forum and neither Apple nor the developers of the game routinely monitor this site.

Please Apple block this app. Misleading completely inaccurate ads for game play. Please please please block this app.

Make your voice heard by writing a review of the app in the App Store. That is where you will have the most impact on the company to change their ways. They do not want other people to read reviews on their app that will dissuade them from downloading it.

Apple may not own the games that in on there app Store, but they can knock off the ones that are either impossible to get rid of or extremely annoying to more than 70% of the Apple customers. Royal match is one of the most annoying ads and almost impossible to do anything but sit through it and it doesn’t help if you go ahead and get it because you will still get the ads. The game is noisy and nerve-racking. The iPhone cleaning app that has the dust pan is one that you absolutely cannot get rid of. I do believe enough people complained about it that is no longer appearing. Apple is supposed to be a watch guard for and safe apps, and should watch the number of people that hate certain apps because of their ads.

Advertising that they have no advertisements is a serious misnomer. Anybody that has any other games will see that that Royal is the absolutely only ad that we continuously Have to endure. And not only that, the ads are ads of saving the king. There are never levels where you get to save the king and it’s over before you know it they should give you more chances to save the king if that is their entire platform this app is ridiculous.

There’s a difference between getting rid of annoying intrusive ads and getting rid of the app itself. If you’ve ever played the app, you know it’s a well written engaging program. The problem is due to its addictive nature & buying coins is very expensive…Apple profits enormously. RM sell coins from 1.99 (1000 coins) to 100.00 and there is little return…a game cost 900 coins-1800 coins to continue.the game if you don’t make it. They have serious teams who play and the activities are very engaging and they’re always introducing new activities regularly. so the problem is the ads and the exorbitant fees they charge that Apple allows because they profit too. The game is great-Apple will never limit those high fees-there’s no incentive to do that

When you play a game you may only have 23 plays and would either need to continue to play by buying coins or play for days to win.
