cant connect to my Remote pc

Every time I try to open up my Microsoft remote pc on my Mac book air it shows error 0x4. I open up the vpn and double click to remote pc box and it gives me that error. How do I fix it.

Microsoft Remote Desktop "not supported on this Mac" My computer automatically installed a new version of Microsoft Remote Desktop a couple of days ago, and now it won't open. When I try to open it, I just get a dialog box that says: You can’t open the application “Microsoft Remote Desktop.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac. I need this application for work. What happened and how do I fix it?

Are you required to use the VPN? If not, shut it down and retry.
