AirPods not transitioning smoothly between iPhone and Macbook Pro
Hi all,
I'd appreciate some assistance with the issues I am experiencing.
Most of the time I have my AirPods Pro 2 connected to my iPhone 13 Pro and MacBook Pro 14".
- Say I'm listening to music on my MacBook Pro, and I receive a phone call, the AirPods don't ring/notify me. Unless I am wearing my Apple Watch or looking at my phone, I have no way of knowing that I'm getting a call.
- After hanging up the call, I discover that the AirPods have disconnected from my MacBook Pro and I must reconnect them. I have to do this dozens of times a day.
For comparison, when using my Bose QC35 II headphones, they are "truly" connected to both devices simultaneously and never disconnect. If I'm listening to music on my MacBook and a phone call comes in, it rings on the headphones. And after hanging up the call, I may resume listening to music without having to re-connect to the MacBook.
You'd expect things to work much more seamlessly, considering the AirPods, iPhone and MacBook Pro are all Apple products.
Is this a known issue? Hoping for a solution.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Tom
