I usually save audio files that I produce in Logic to my desktop. Once there I’ll listen back to check. Now all audio files WAV or mp3 play at quite a slower tempo. When I use iTunes to playback same file it plays at desired tempo. What is wrong with QuickTime playback? Can it be fixed?

It sounds like you may need to adjust the playback speed in QuickTime Player:
You can vary the playback speed of a video using the forwardor rewind button
. To change the playback speed while playing the video, click the forward or rewind button until your video plays at the desired speed. Playback speeds include 2x, 5x, 10x, 30x, and 60x.
You can vary the playback speed in small increments (from 1.1x to 2x) by Option-clicking the forward
You can also choose a playback speed before you play the video. Click the Share and Playback Speed button, choose Playback Speed, then choose the speed you want.

Thank you. I did try to speed up and other settings. Kind of strange. Been producing music for 25 years and never had this happen. WAV and AIFF files play up to tempo on iTunes but QuickTime either plays designated tempo and someways slower. Very strange!
