I purchased Beats Studio's from Walmart back in July 3rd, after wearing them the past 5 months, they are no longer working and making a Very High Pitch Squealing noise when I turn them on

warrant repair refused I have a pair of beats headphones. 8 months old. The extending part of the headband became loose. 2 screws have come out and disappeared. I took the headphones back to Currys. They booked me in to a 3rd party authorised apple repairer. They contacted Apple and sent me this by email.... "I have had a chat with Apple and they have confirmed that we are unable to cover your Beats under a warrantable repair due to the missing screws. The only option we are able to provide would be shipping to Apple for repair at the cost of £189. If you would not like to proceed, I can prepare your Beats for collection in-store." £189 was the purchase price!! I would have thought this should be covered under warranty!! I have emailed asking for more detailed reasons as to why it is not covered but no response.

Apple denied to fix my Beats fir pro though it was in warranty I bought the Beats fit pro in September 2023 since then there was one or other issue. now the left earbuds mic doesn’t work and when I sent my device to apple service center and they gave excuses and asked me to pay same amount of new beats. Thats ridiculous, they told the mesh on the beats are torn little bit and because of that they didn’t even check the mic issue. Well done by billion dollar company. I didnt put my finger in to mess up with thts earbud mesh. They builded low quality product and wantedly fooling customers.Apple is going into trash. Soon they will be selling products on the streets if they continues this. I challenge apple to reply me…

Your Beats should come with a one-year warranty from Apple that covers manufacturing defects. That warranty become effective at the time Walmart bought it from Apple, not when you purchased it from Walmart.

Regardless, an Apple Technician will need to examine these Beats to determine, if indeed, the issue you are having is caused by a defect, and not user caused. If found to be a defect, you may find that you can get a replacement pair at little or no cost to you.
