I bought a macbook and it said that i’ll receive a $150 gift card. I received the code for the gift card. When I check in my wallet to make payments on my macbook, it shows i’m paying installments on the gift card as well.

I believe Apple arranges these promotions so that you are charged full price for the gift card, but then get a discount for that amount off the price of the computer.
Presumably they are trying to make it clear that you can’t order a computer, then return it for a full refund while holding onto the gift card.
The totals should add up to the right amounts, even if the breakdown looks odd … but if things still look wrong after taking that into account, you might want to contact Apple.
