Pages on IPhone not syncing to Pages on Ipad

Pages on my IPhone has not synced to Pages on my IPad since Sept 25, 2023. Yes, both devices’ Apple IDs are the same on ICloud. Yes, have toggled “Apps syncing to ICloud Drive” on and off several times on both IPhone and IPad. Have restarted both devices. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Pages on the IPhone. When reinstalled, the same documents appeared, again with none later than Sept 25, 2023. What the **** is the point of the Pages app if it cannot sync between my two devices??? Is this Apple tech amateur hour or what???
