iPad Pro 6th Gen Magic Keyboard "This accessory is not supported by this device" Fix

One Day My iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation) Magic Keyboard just up and quit working. Giving the “This accessory is not supported by this device". iPad and Keyboard are both Basically new (2 months old). I tried moving my iPad to another keyboard I had. Didnt work. Note, the iPad would still charge fine using the keyboard’s usb-c port. Just coudn’t type or use the trackpad.

Fix

I used (WD-40 brand) Electrical Contact Cleaner, sprayed it on a paper towel, and then wiped it on the 3 contact points on the back of my iPad and the keyboard. Problem Solved. My Keyboard is working like normal.

Use of contact cleaner or other spray products is not recommended by Apple.

If you are experiencing issues with a Smart (folio) or Magic Keyboard with iPad, remove the iPad from the Keyboard - and carefully/gently clean the smart connector contacts on both the iPad and keyboard with a soft pencil eraser (a drafting-film eraser is ideal). Ensure that the contacts on both iPad and keyboard are dirt and dust free - and all debris from the eraser have been removed - before reconnecting the two.
