Mail subfolders missing

I have an Ipad and Iphone. My phone shows all the folders that are contained in my comcast.net email, but the Ipad does not.

Ensure that you have updated your iPad to the most recent supported version - iPadOS 15.7.9, 16.7.2 or iPadOS 17.1.

Some earlier versions of iPadOS have a bug that causes some IMAP mailbox folders to be hidden.

If the problem persists after updating your iPad, deleting and re-adding your email account is sometimes the easiest way to resolve a problem with a specific Mail account. After deleting the account, perform a forced restart before re-adding the email account to your iPad.

  • Delete account:

Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Your Mail Account] > Delete Account

  • Force restart the iPad:

Force restart iPad - Apple Support

  • Add Mail Account:

Settings > Mail > Add Account
