I am getting burns from my new Apple Watch 9. On wrist, burn marks are at 2 and 8 o'clock positions and center - see photos. Never had a problem with previous watches (Series 0 and 5). Any idea why these new watch sensors would be causing burns?

Me too, but mine were the size of the watch no issues with previous 3 and 6. Went away and this is what happened this past week. Not a happy camper

Mine was a burn, not a dermatitis.
Jeff, mine was definitely a burn, initially I did have skin irritation but pictured was definitely a burn
After claim was done, Apple support only sent me an email with a link to “how to clean your Apple Watch”!

I'm responding to you who are spending your time trying to convince others that our cases are just dermatitis instead of burns, and from what I see you are reading me 😆
There are two types of burns, thermal, as you’ve described here and radiation, as with sunburns from UV light. The source here would be the latter.
