I have IOS 16.7.2, and iPhone 13 Pro Max… I want to respond to bank prompts in my keypad; I hear the tones but my automated bank agent hears nothing; same problem when I call Apple and want to selection an option… Help!

While DTMS tones are triggered by you pushing buttons on your keypad, the actual tones are generated by your wireless carrier, on their network. If you're having issues with DTMS tones not being registered, you should reach out to your carrier for assistance: Wireless carrier support and features for iPhone in the United States and Canada - Apple Support.
In the meantime, we can suggest seeing if there are any updates available from your carrier, which you can do with the steps in Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support. Updates from your carrier may resolve issues your phone has communicating over their network.
