After removing Apple Card to fix missing transactions, unable to re-add the card and getting the "Apple Pay Services Unavailable" error
This morning I got an email from Apple Card that a transaction was blocked because it looked suspicious and to either confirm or deny the charges in the Wallet app. Once in the Wallet app, I noticed that none of my transactions were showing up under the Apple Card like they used to and could not find anywhere to confirm that it was a legitimate charge. This is on my brand new iPhone 15 Pro, fully updated, etc. I did not ever have this issue with my previous iPhone 14 Pro Max, and now I'm not sure if transactions were ever showing up on the new 15 Pro—did not really look until trying to confirm this charge.
From reading a few other threads, I have tried the following with no results:
- Close Wallet app and restart iPhone
- Update to latest iOS and Force restart
- Remove Apple Card from Wallet, restart, and re-add (unable to re-add)
- Logout of iCloud, restart iPhone, log back in to iCloud, add recent cards (unable to re-add)
As bolded above, I now cannot even add my Apple Card back to my wallet. It still shows up on my Mac, but every time I go into Wallet on iOS, hit (+), and try to either select "Add Apple Account" or use the 'recently used' cards option, I get an "Apple Pay Services Unavailable" error (screenshot below). I have also tried fixes from other threads for this and am getting nowhere. What else can I try? Slightly panicking because I need that charge to go through, and I need to make a payment on my card in a couple of days. Any help is greatly appreciated!
