Renaming dropped pin on maps

I have been struggling to rename some marked/dropped pin locations in my guides.

As you can see on screenshots, before, I used to be able to have the option to rename any dropped pin, but lately the option does not appear. Once I drop the pin it does not give me the option to edit name, but for the pins I dropped some long time ago I have the rename/edit name option.

Has anyone faced the same issue and know how to solve this?

When I go into my favorite pins and click the i next to the pin I want to relabel, I type in the new name in the label section and click done and it reverts back to the original label (Home). Maps | My Guides: lost ability to rename dropped pins added to my guides in maps Recently the ability to rename a dropped pin added to my guides was removed. Would anyone know a workaround as I use this functionality a lot? The issue occurs on all of the latest versions of Apple Maps on iOS and on MacOs. Pins not working in Apple Maps I have noticed that the pinned locations in Apple Maps are changing after I save them. I am unable to change the location or names of the pinned locations. Some are fine, but most of them either relocate on their own or keep appearing in the place where an old pin was located. happens on both iPhones and iMac M2 mini - super frustrating - (both iphone and imac are updated to latest iOS)
