Iphone 15 lock screen delay ( wake up ) IOS 17.1 problem

The solution mentioned above worked for me. It seems to be some issue with iOS and not the device I feel. I followed the steps above and it worked. The lag has gone for screen awake.

It is not a “solution” as it is a temporary fix for maybe a few hours. This is a bug that apple needs to fix.

I am also having the same issue . The phone slows down after 2 3 days . After restart it works normal . The same problem repeat. Dissatisfied with this i never faced it in android.

The issue stays on in 17.3.. cause why wouldn’t it.

Hi. I spoke with one of Apple support agents and he mentioned:

“our engineers haven't had any reports yet”

And suggest if we want Apple to solve this issue in next updates we should address the issue in Apple feedback👇

There’s not really a solution honestly, it doesn’t even depend on which wallpaper you chose to use because some have it and some don’t. However even the ones that have that occurred it doesn’t always happen. It’s an iOS bug right now. For me it sometimes happen towards Apple wallpapers here and there. It will get fixed in time. If anyone has questions or other issues you can always write down here. And we can help one another out with solutions or answers!

I figured it out.

its the double click side button feature when you use apple pay and just go to settings>wallet&apple pay then turn off the double click side button this fixed it for me on my iphone 15 pro max.
