IOS 17.1 Apple Music stops after a couple of songs on 6th Gen iPad

After upgrade to iOS 17.1, Apple Music freezes and stops. I’ve tried streaming and downloading, different Wi-Fi and I’ve just restored to factory with basic setup, no transfer, straight into music and it does the same. iPad 6th generation. Everything else works, it’s just music. Subscriber to Apple Music. Anyone else seeing this or have suggestions please?

17.2 has fixed this (utterly annoying) issue.

I actually just spoke with someone at Apple and this actually seemed to work:

1 Navigate to Settings > Music and turn off Sync Library.

2 Restart the device.

3 In Settings > Music, turn on Sync Library again. For larger libraries or slower network connections, content could take several minutes to load.

4 Test the behavior.

I tried about 5 different things before this and this is what did the trick.

17.2 seems to have fixed my 6th gen iPad, but my 2nd post seems to have been deleted. I didn't post anything negative, only my troubleshooting steps.

Disappointed in the overall response and censorship of post on the matter. At least amid it was a problem. 6ish weeks of iPad owners not being able to play Apple Music with a iPad 6-9. I seem to be up and running, but I use my iPad for home Airplay to 3 devices. I pay per year for Apple Music, I will never get a credit being out 6 weeks.
