USB C Headphone lead on iPhone 15 SOLVED (sort of)

then enable connected to headphones option.

I purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max and successfully used an Apple compatible splitter for charging and listening with headphones at the same time for several months. Recently it stopped working so I purchased a new splitter and then new headphones and they did not work either. I went to the Apple Store and they tried off the shelf devices to test my earphones and the results didn’t change. There is no visible damage to my phone. Now I discover others seem to be having the same or similar problem. Is there a fix coming from Apple ?

Hey Buddy, Same is the case with me but i don't have any old apple earphone lead to connect with and i even submitted this new wired earpod at the service centre and they even got a new piece but the same is also not working on my I phone 15 pro max and my I pad 10th Gen.

Please help !

Solution: Just don't buy another apple product if they don't work and or are very inconvenient. No one should have to study or lift a finger to figure out a product. It either works, is user friendly, or not.

now lets see if they even allow negative comments on here. Smh

I have this same issue with the headphone. Why? No one from Apple can explain why the headphone adapter does not work.

Same earphone problem as others. VERY DISAPPOINTING when you spend over a grand on a phone and you get the rug pulled out from under you. Will definitely shop other brands next phone

No. I bought an Apple 3.5mm to usb-c adapter and it worked.

I also have a set with a Lightning lead which did not work with a 3rd party adapter. I bought an Apple Lightning to usb-c adapter and this set now works.

Ok, but what if it doesn’t ask if I am trying to connect headphones or you accidentally press no?? Nothing I do will get the headphones to work 😭 I am super bummed.
