Magic Keyboard for iPad Air 5 suddenly goes faulty

My magic keyboard for ipad Air 5th Gen seems to be faulty.

Its connected magnetically and by 3 pins to the back of my iPad Air5.

When using - thingts start happening with out me touching the keyboard eg in Netflix it suddenly chooses a fil and then does wierd things.

Or in an e mail account will switch from one e mail to another and navigate around the account without me touching any keys.

None of these things happen with the keyboard disconnected.

The keyboard was bought from Apple with teh iPad Air 5 in August 2022.

Any suggestions please?

Remove the iPad from the Keyboard - and carefully/gently clean the smart connector contacts on both the iPad and keyboard with a soft pencil eraser (a drafting-film eraser is ideal). Ensure that the contacts on both iPad and keyboard are dirt and dust free - and all debris from the eraser have been removed - before reconnecting the two.

If the problem persists, you might be well advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad and keyboard:
