I have a large Apple Music Library with many playlists. I listen to music playlists daily. I received notice that my Iphone was out of storage. I have excellent wifi and want to remove downloaded music while retaining the entirety of my playlists to stream. Please help.

If you are in a playlist in the Music app, you should see a “…” menu option in the upper right corner. Tap it and you should see an option to “Remove Download.”
You also could do this in the settings app. Go to: Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Music. You’ll see a list of everything that is downloaded to your device, and you can choose what to remove by swiping to delete.

Open the Playlist and tap on the ellipsis next to the song to be deleted and tap Remove ... > Remove Download.
A quicker alternative to delete downloads is go to Settings > Music > Downloaded Music. You could turn on Optimise Storage.
