Hey there!
First, be sure that the Epson printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac:
Next, on your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) If you don’t see your printer listed, click the Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax button. Continue to follow the steps to choose your printer and connect it to your Mac.

Hi,
Also, the connection does not have to be wireless. The Epson ET-4800 has Ethernet as well. AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections, so you could choose to wire the printer to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router instead. Ethernet may be more stable.
If necessary, if there is a problem with AirPrint device discovery, try a full power-cycle sequence (including the router): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the Epson printer, the MacBook Air, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the Epson printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the MacBook Air. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
