iPhone 15 Pro Max not charging

Purchased the 15 pro max back in Oct 2023, just experienced the first time about the phone not being charged after plugging in the cable. Turn off the device and turn it back on, and charging works again. Will follow up if it's reoccurring.

I experienced the same issue today! I worried it might be a hardware problem since my phone is only six months old and suddenly wouldn't charge properly and started blinking. Luckily, after a forced reboot, it started working again. I hope, I don't encounter that issue again.

My iPhone 15 pro max is not charging via C port which was purchased in Dec 2023. What to do now? The charging can be done via wireless charger.

However with the same cable android phone can be charged.

The same thing happened to me, I thought my charger was broken, but it wasn’t, since it still works when I charge my power bank. I even tried using different USB-C but still did not work. I also talked to the apple support and they just told me to go to the store and get it fixed. Glad I saw your comment and tried it. I was so worried that my charging port will not work anymore. Thank you!

my new iphone 15 pro max stopped charging, so i assumed the charger or cable were at fault, to my surprise it was not.

reseting the iphone solved the problem

I only have my iPhone for two weeks 15 Pro Max - last night I plugged it in and it didn’t charge. I was going bananas. I checked all my chargers. I checked all my cables I put my watch in and it was charging. I put my iPad in it was charging. Apple fix this problem - I paid a lot of money for this phone. I had a 12 Pro Max and it was perfect.

I went on YouTube to fine the answer to fix my new 15 pro max ….!

i had It for two weeks and now it won’t charge. this has to be a software problem Apple fix it because I don’t wanna keep on doing this.

I think it’s the cord that comes with the phone I got mine today and it would not charge, I tried diff outlets and power banks and same thing so I I put a new non Apple charge cable that I got at the the dollar store and it’s working to charge.

I’m having the issue where it’s plugged in but it’s acting like it’s not plugged in and keeps making the plugged in then unplugged noise I’m afraid it’s going to kill my battery! This just started a couple of days ago! But I cannot get my phone fully charged now and the noise keeps waking me up!

They should recall it I’m so disgusted 🤮 n disappointed 😔 I think it’s the worst inconvenience n Apple will do nothing to accommodate goin back to my android 🤖 they would never 👎 get over on us this way I’m very upset I hope I don’t lose my job opportunity because of this hot mess for a phone they try to be so fancy n it’s all not worth it any more I can’t lie I want my money back asap

I just received my 15 pro max (May 2024) and it's not charging so it looks like the issue hasn't been fixed. I have restarted the phone but nothing. I will hold on to my 14 pro max because it's not that serious. I will call Apple but I may be sending this phone back.

Bought my iPhone 15 pro

max last month, already had the issue multiple times. Though resetting the phone would fix it, still very annoying. Bought a new Mac book pro lately, had issues too. Very disappointed at the quality of Apple’s recent products.

I am having the same issue. After purchasing the phone on March, the problem started on April. It was suprising that a month old high-end phone is having a problem like this. At first the reboot was working but now it is not charging even after rebooting. Seems like every day it is harder to charge my phone. What should I do??

Me too. Phone is 7 months old and randomly started not charging about 10 days ago, have been to the Apple Store (150 mile round trip with a 1 and 4 year old) said it was fixed, charged when I first put it on cable but stopped that night, no alarm for work, have sat on phone with operator since 9:20am it is now 1:15pm carrying out “resets” and as a result I’ve my phone wiped and basically she said they can’t fix it until an update comes。frustrated wouldn’t cover it

I am having the same issue with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. This was bought directly from Apple in the last couple of months it has been in a protective case, never been dropped or damaged whatsoever.

In the last week when I plugged in my certified charger, it would not charge. I thought there was something wrong with the charger so then I plugged the same Charger into my other usb c product (Bluetooth speaker) this charged up with no problem what so ever. The same thing has happened again when I plugged in the charger the phone does not charge, there is nothing wrong with the charger or the power supply anyway its simply the iPhone 15 Pro Max not charging it seems to have a mind of its own in regards to charging the battery health is 100% has always been maintained in the most appropriate way I am very disappointed to say the least this is meant to be a flagship model and I was left without the use of this for many hours due to the charging issue very very disappointed.

had mines for about 2 months the pink one 💕never dropped or anything brand new out the box and Mine will every couple of seconds keep making the noises and vibrations over and over again as if I keep unplugging it and plugging it in again again it’s very frustrating I reset my phone still the same thing tried new outlets still the Same thing
