I want to mirror my MAC screen to my TV.

I seem to have a link within ROKU box to Turn Airplay ON and enter a required code for 1st time only.

Where would I find such a code?

Will Airplay allow me to see what is on my monitor when connected to the MAC Studio?

Mac Studio, macOS 14.0

The AirPlay seems to only allow videos to stream when there is a link button shown at the bottom of the video. The intent was to display a Zoom meeting on the telly. Some form of screencast seems appropriate OR, an HDMI splitter box to display what is on the monitor OR, running a very long HDMI cable to the back of the MAC Studio, which seems to have only 1 HDMI output.

I see there is a 10ft USB C/thunderbolt 4K HDMI option to purchase.

There is always an option to purchase something. Ha!

An app was downloaded to mirror without success.

if you can make a direct CABLE connection, such as an HDMI cable, to your TV set, results will be Vastly superior to any of these ROKU or Apple-TV solutions.

An ordinary display requires upwards of 6 G bits/sec, and more typically around 9 G bits/sec for full speed, full motion Video.

Really good WiFi connections provide a data pathway up to 1 G bits/sec, far short of lossless data rates required.

Even with really good compression, picture quality will never be nearly as good as a direct cable connection. It will be especially obvious for Full-Motion Video or Full-motion gaming.

You should be able to airPlay most Zoom meetings, (unless it is a Zoom meeting of the juggling club). Ordinary meeting pictures do not tend to change very quickly, and you don't need the sharpness of real full-motion Video.

Remember that there may be system settings behind sharing your camera and microphone that have to be enabled as well.

I have no idea how to get anything onto a Roku player.
