I have a Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019, 3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5, Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB, 8 GB 2667 MHz DDR4, macOS Sonoma Version 14.0, and I keep having problems since the update to Sonoma 14.0.
Can I restore from a Time Machine backup, and how can I determine when I went to Sonoma 14.0?
Unless I just didn't go back quite far enough on the list to catch an installation prior to 9/8.If I try again, should I look for a date between 8/26 and 9/7?
Worth a try.
The migration is complete, and the Assistant is updating features, but an initial look at About This Mac still shows the macOS as Sonoma 14.1.

I can’t argue with that reaction. I’m leaving it as is, and updating docs, etc to the most current. Then I’ll evaluate and see if there’s anything critically wrong.
