trading in an Ipad for a new Ipad
I have an Ipad Pro, which is 5 or so years old. I am unable to charge the battery and an Apple tech. told me the Charging port is bad/damaged. Can I still trade this Ipad in for a new one?

Apple's trade-in programme will only accept qualifying devices if they are fully functional and undamaged. Given your description, your iPad - even if a qualifying model - will not be eligible for trade-in.
