iPhone 15 Pro Extreme Battery Drain While Turned Off
I’ve had my iPhone 15 Pro since release. The battery has been great compared to my previous iPhone (12 Pro).
Last night I plugged my phone in and woke up at 9am with a 100% Charge. I used my phone for normal things to start my day; Facebook for 40
mins, Chrome for 26 mins. Nothing major.
Then I get to work where I have to turn my phone off while working. My battery was about 75% when I shut it off.
6 hours later, I turn my phone off and it’s at 31%! WHAT.
I sat there for a few minutes trying to remember if I did actually use my phone that much, but looked at the Screen Time usage and it was at 5 hours for the whole day. Nah, something’s wrong here.
I then pull up my battery history in settings which confirmed my battery before/after turning it off.
At 2pm my battery was 75%.
It then shows no activity until 8pm when I turned it back on and shows 31%.
So I wasn’t going crazy!
I then turned my phone off and back on to see if it would magically jump to higher % and when I did that, it dropped down to 28%! I did it a second time and went down to 24%!
What is going on?!
I was using iOS 17.0.3
Model Number: MTQM3LL/A
I also plugged my phone to charge it to see if that would equalize the %, but no avail.
I also updated to iOS 17.1.
iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14
