Apple pencil has hairline cracks

On each side there is a hairline crack (vertical). It's a new crack. It's no longer under warrantee (2nd gen pencil). Is it still okay to use? It still functions fine, like will it blow up or anything crazy like that?

Apple Pencil broken I dropped my Apple Pencil (gen 1) and now the gold tip has broken off. Is there any way to get it repaired? I don’t think I have the warranty anymore since I’ve had it for 3 years, so can I still pay for a repair if possible? Or is the only option to get an entirely new Apple Pencil?

Expanding cracks in Pencil 2 Within few days, the Pencil 2 developed two hairline cracks. They are expanding. How far are they likely to reach? Apple didn’t acknowledge any defects. Unfortunately, didn’t buy it via Costco where such a return is no question asked!
