Potential phishing scam

I just reported what I think may be a phishing scam on my Apple Desktop. The safari page has been frozen by the email. I have not tried to close the page/or Safari yet. How long will it be before I get a response from reportphishing@ap..........? The email says my computer has been locked due security reasons; threat detected: Trojan Spyware. It says contact Apple at 1-8***.. At the bottom of the box it has 2 choices DENY or ALLOW... Has anyone else received this email & was it authentic or a scam?
