iMovie videos appear in my Photo library as just black thumbnails? Why?

I don't understand that when you create a video in iMovie and import it into Photos it appears as just a nondescript black thumbnail instead of showing the title and or video content from the start of it. This happens to all my videos and is very annoying, especially when sharing the video with others. Why don't you look into how to resolve this issue. Thanks,

The video is appearing as a black thumbnail because the first frame is black. This can happen when the video opens with a fade in title, circle opening transition, or a fade transition, etc. Delete the first few frames or insert a screen shot of the title at the front of the video.
