Microphone not working when plugged to AUX on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hi , i have the exact same problem , pls do update in case you get a solution #iphone15

The microphone on my iPhone 14 Pro Max is not working correctly. It is not clear to the person I am talking with. I have called my own VM and it is not good.

And sound volume on USB-C to Aux is not nearly 60% of sound from Lightning to Aux. this is a problem for those of us greatly hearing impaired!!

On the iPhone 15 Pro Max, you need TRS to TRSS microphone adapter (e.g., https://a.co/d/5jwFGjO) in line with the aux to usb-c converter to be able to bring in line level digital audio.

This was a lifesaver, finally got it working thank you!

However, it wasn’t an issue with a lightning2aux adapter?

My IPhone 15 PRO microphone does not work with any USB-C adapters; Please Help! I am considering reverting back to my IPHONE 14.

Thank you because I’ve tried everything including the Google adapter. Nothing works. I think it’s software rather than hardware. I’m ready to send my phone back. This is most ridiculous

So how did you get your iPhone 15 to work?

Went to Walmart and got apple version of the aux adapter fixed the issue right away. Cost nine dollars. Any other adapter will not work
