foreign language in wallet when setting up payment method

I signed up to apply pay / iphone wallet a few months ago. It worked fine. Somehow my bank(savings) card was deleted from my iphone wallet a week or two ago.

I tried to add my bankcard again, but after choosing the bank name, the next screen is in a totally different language than my phone (English)or my home country language (Dutch). Is my phone being hacked or did I downloads a virus by accident?

Let's double check that you've set up Apple Pay with the exact steps shown here: Set up Apple Pay


Also, did you get in touch with your financial institute to make sure that there are no issues on their end?
