XS Max not getting notification on LOCK screen
iPhone X Max IO 16.6.1 will not get Messages notification sound when screen is locked. Sound occurs only if message is received when unlocked. Apple Watch does get the notification

fixed this. turn off Wrist Detection (on your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Passcode – turn off Wrist Detection), then all notifications and the notification sound will be delivered to both devices.
