My Macbook does not recognize my iphone. I went through all the steps, updating macbook and iphone. Still doesn't work. What else can i try? Is it the wrong email address?

The iphone does not appear in Finder on my Macbook even after updating both devices.

iMac does not recognise iPhone 13 My iMac (2011) on OS Sierra 10.12.6 running iTunes 12.8.2.3. does not appear to recognise my iPhone 13 since updating to iOS 17.0 Now on iOS 17.3 and no different. iPhone does not show up on Finder either. Have swapped cables etc. My iMac does recognise my iPhone 5s and iPad as normal.
