my macbook pro 2017 keyobard and trackpad stopped working for no apparent reason after updating to ventura 13.6. no damage was done to the laptop,no spills on it,nothing bad ever happened to it. @apple what's going on with your products ? i don't want to spend 200+ dollars to repair a damage that doesn't even exist in the first place

Try plugging in an external keyboard and compare your results....
