Home app invites non responsive
Spent a couple of days attempting to set up some smart switches in the newly updated home app. Whilst the devices set up in the app easily enough, my partner was unable to accept the invitation to join the home and I was unable to access the devices from outside the range of the WiFi network. Today (the 3rd day of battling the issue) a sharp eyed Apple support agent spotted that my Apple TV 4K is a 1st generation and likely not compatible with the latest release of the home app. She has raised an escalation request to have my home app restored to the previous version which she thinks should resolve the issue. Hopefully this happens tomorrow but might take 3 working days!!!
