In general, any iPhone warranty only applies within the county of sale.

So it’s generally a FAR better proposition to purchase a phone within the country of primary residence and/or use.

Also, any iPhone currently sold by Apple IS a Dual-SIM phone.

Meaning that you can have 2x active lines with an onboard storage capacity for at least 8x eSIMs.

While a phone purchased in HK does allow for 2x nanoSIMs, it will NOT accomodate ANY eSIMs.

Lastly, some carriers in the GCC region do offer eSIMs. See Apple’s non-authoritative “best effort” list of carriers here: (i.e. there may be others)

If the seller is an authorized Apple dealer, then they will have access to Apple replacement parts and service information. They will not be reimbursed by Apple for any service that they perform on this phone, so hopefully the seller will honor their promises if the phone requires service.

Your phone does not have an Apple warranty in the EAE. It does have an Apple warranty in China though.

Ok in my case the country of sale is UAE, but it’s Hong Kong version!

That means it's a gray market phone. The warranty is only valid in Hong Kong.

In addition, the warranty clock started ticking when the device was ORIGINALLY sold by Apple or an authorized retailer in Hong Kong. You won't even get the full year warranty, if you get any warranty at all.
