iphone se (2016) overheating while charging
i know that its a very outdated phone but i have very little options right now. but the iphone is very hot while charging even if im not using it. any ideas?

Have you ever had the battery replaced in that phone? Chances are the battery has degraded to the point it is becoming unusable. You should schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar to have the phone tested and if as I suspect, the battery is degraded, have them replace the battery. A new battery for your iPhone model will cost $69.
