iPhone 16 Pro overheats when charging

My phone always heats when I’m charging idk why ?

When you charge a battery, especially if you use fast charging, batteries naturally put out heat. It's called thermal resistance and is a natural byproduct of charging. Unless you are seeing a thermometer on your screen suggesting the phone cannot be used, your phone isn't overheating. You may however, see a message if you use Optimized Battery Charging, once the battery reaches 80% that charging will be paused until the battery cools and this is completely normal as we all get this now.
