I purchased my iPhone 13pro from AT&T. I want to pay off the phone and buy a new one from Apple directly. Can I get trade in credit from Apple if I did not buy my phone there? I don't want to be stuck with AT&T forever.

Hello Rome3552, If you are still under contract with AT&T then no on trading it in to Apple because the iPhone will be LOCKED and unable for trade in. If the iPhone is paid for and you have met your contract time then the iPhone can be UNLOCKED and would be eligible for trade in to Apple.
Check with AT&T to confirm that you have met the requirements to have the phone unlocked. Then, have AT&T unlock the phone for you.
