Why are airtags more expensive in the apple store than almost elsewhere such as Costco, Staples, London Drugs and Amazon. I have an Apple Credit so I'd like to by them from the Apple Store but $16 difference with the Apple Store being more expensive, seems significant.
Most likely, it's due to volume pricing discounts that Apple offers Apple Authorized Resellers. It is up to the latter to set the selling price to the consumer.
Perhaps you should have purchased them when they had such a price reduction, as they are showing the same price now.
The only price saving I could find was at Costco Canada, where was $10 off the 4 pack.
We are all other users here and not privy to Apple's pricing policies - sorry.
