iPhone 15 pro overheating
I want to know if the issue with the new iPhone’s overheating has been resolved, can I buy it or should I wait? is’t a software problem or a physical one?

The heating issues were resolved (for those who actually had some to begin with) with the release of iOS 17.0.3. I've had my iPhone 15 Pro Max and 15 Pro since launch day and have had zero issues with heat on either device from day one.

I continue to have overheating issues even after the OS release.
This is simply not true on a wide scale range. Maybe for personal experience. I’ve owned my iPhone 15 Pro now for a little more than a week. Updated to the latest iOS of 17.2.1, with no more than 20 minutes of use, I could cook an egg on the back of my iPhone without the case on. I can’t even use the flashlight half the time because the device must cool down first. Had this same issue with iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 17+ which never got resolved.

So you are actually seeing the phone display a thermometer, with a warning the phone must cool down before you can continue to use it? If you are not, your iPhone may be getting warm, but you are NOT having overheating issues.
