applecare and Apple ID
bought an iPhone 15 pro max for my son together with the applecare for theft and loss.
Can he use his Apple ID on the Find My app? will this affect the apple care terms?

Are you on family sharing? If you've bought the iPhone for your son, why didn't you use his Apple ID? As Apple ID's are personal
If you're not in family sharing, you might need tot transfer the apple care plan. This has nothing to do with find my, it has something to do with using his Apple ID on his iPhone
- Sign in to My Support to get the AppleCare agreement number, the serial number of the device, and the proof of coverage for the AppleCare plan.
- Find the original sales receipt for the device.
- Get the new owner’s name, address, email address, and phone number.
- Contact Apple Support.
