Macbook Genuine Logic Board Replacement Under Warranty

I had my macbook air sent to claim warranty by an authorized reseller. i was told that the logic board is to be replaced. I want to know whether the newly replaced logic board will have the same serial number as the old one

Yes. If they perform the replacement correctly, the new logic board will be programmed with the same serial number as the one it replaced, so that it matches the one engraved on the Mac's case and all other information Apple has for it.
